
We introduce ourselves as established Foundry and machine shop in the heart of an important and renowned township close to New Delhi, Faridabad. The unit is located on National Highway No. 2 and on main-railway trunk routes of Delhi Bombay and Delhi-Chennai. Being strata….fiscally located we are conveniently very well connected by railways and highways for easy transportation of our finished goods and also for inputs required for our products. We are an ISO certified company having ISO 9001-2008.
We started in 1980 and today we have grown to a production level of 10,000T of castings per annum. During this period there has been a steady addition of facilities to cater to mass production items and tailor made, one off items conforming to stringent national and international standards.
The Foundry manufactures Castings in Steel, S.G. Iron & Cast Iron up to 20T single piece. Molten capacity of foundry is 40.00 MT.
Molten steel is processed as per requirement through secondary metallurgy route of LRF /AOD.
We are also exporting machined castings to Europe, USA besides other Countries.

Moulding Technique
We are presently producing castings by hand moulding using alpha set sand system. Apart from using wooden / aluminium patterns, thermocole patterns are also used for one time castings. We use softwares for making patterns. We are adopting full mould process for some castings.
The process control parameters are standardised and closely monitored in accordance with written process control procedures / work instructions.
Melting Process
We have a battery of Induction Furnaces of Steel Capacity 1.5 T, 4.0 T, 6.0 & 10.0 T .Chemistry of each heat is maintained as per specification. This is possible by having a strict control on the furnace inputs like scrap, alloys & de-oxidants etc. Scrap used is of selected grade and totally free from undesirable impurities.
Tapping and pouring temperatures are controlled as per parameters.
LRF (Laddle Refinning Furnace) of 20 T capacities.
A.O.D. (Argon Oxygen Decarburization) of 12 T capacities.
Heat-Treatment
We have our own facilities for annealing, normalising quenching and stress relieving. Process to be adopted will depend on the metal chemistry and physical properties desired. The specified heat treatment cycle parameters are monitored and controlled through computer for every cycle of heat treatment.
Shot Blasting
We have good facility for shot blasting for castings.
Design & Engineering -
Bhupendra Steels has a setup for tool designing facilities i.e. latest CAD/CAM and Analysis software, Unigraphics NX-5, Auto CAD 2000 and Auto CAD Mechanical 2006 at Plot No. 146, Sector 24, and Faridabad.
The company has a good setup of CNC & conventional machining centres for machining of casting along with Design & Engineering also. The detail of the same is enclosed as annexure – IV.
